Bert Libeert, a Belgian producer and musician, is probably mostly known as the drummer of electronic rock outfit GOOSE.

With his EBM/techno project B1980, he brings the raw emotion and spontaneity of live electronic music back to clubs, armed with just two synths and two drum machines.

In the studio, he works exclusively with analogue gear. His signature sound combines organic and atmospheric recordings with the attitude and rawness of EBM inspired techno. Influenced by new beat and Belgian pioneers like Front 242, his mission is to continue the Belgian sound in his own unique way.
