Organic Pulse Ensemble’s music never ceases to impress. A one piece band — Gustav Horneij — embarks on a more groove oriented journey transmitting the energy of the big band. Standing on the shoulders of jazz giants who turned their music into a vehicle for protest and consciousness-raising, Horneij brilliantly contributes to the legacy of liberation music, aiming to uplift, unite, and empower individuals and communities in their quest for peace and freedom from oppression. Rather than simply replicating the past, Organic Pulse Ensemble expands on it with clarity and heart, addressing today’s struggle in its own voice.
