Description

Ciska Ciska, the Ghent-based singer-songwriter and scion of a musical family, presents her debut album ‘Page Of Cups (Reversed)’. This album marks the closing of a chapter filled with fear and doubt and is a personal coming-of-age story in which she embraces her vulnerability. The title is taken from a tarot card representing creative blocks, a theme she leaves behind with this record. With her warm, golden voice and subtle guitar parts, Ciska tells her story. Production was handled by Pieterjan Coppejans (Eefje De Visser, Sylvie Kreusch) and the mix was taken care of by Tobie Speleman (The Haunted Youth, Brihang).

The music is a mix of indie, Americana, and folk, reminiscent of artists such as Julia Jacklin and Adrianne Lenker.
