From Kubrick’s ‘A Clockwork Orange’ in the seventies to the cult soundtrack ‘Blade Runner’ by Vangelis: every vinyl collector must have had a copy of a famous film score lying around somewhere. Lovers of film scores can eat their heart out during Film Fest Gent’s (October 9 - 19) full blown music program: from new compositions for screen during Videodroom at Kunstencentrum Vooruit to the annual World Soundtrack Awards at the Capitole.
