Description

Self-taught composer and sound editor Bo Harwood became a key collaborator of filmmaker John Cassavetes, working on six films including A Woman Under the Influence, The Killing of a Chinese Bookie and Opening Night. This collection draws from surviving master tapes, bringing together themes, songs and on-screen cues alongside work written with Cassavetes. Often recorded as scratch tracks and retained for their immediacy, these strange, romantic and sometimes devastating pieces reveal Harwood’s vital contribution to the emotional world of Cassavetes’ films.
