The album combines samba, bossa nova, and baiao with socially and spiritually charged lyrics. With songs like "Louvacao," "Procissao," "Roda," and "Viramundo," Gil demonstrated a new style of songwriting at the time.

"Louvacao" is pressed on red vinyl.
