Description

2nd generation of Marseille Rap after IAM, the Fonky Family is a new breath of fresh air for the southern capital. Menzo, Don Choa, Sat, Rat Luciano, take care of the rap part while Pone and Dj Djel take care of the music. Spotted by Akhenaton, they participate in the title "Bad Boys de Marseille" and its video, it is a success and a royal road to a 1st album, "Si Dieu veut..."! Affiliated with the label/collective Coté Obscur, they are everywhere, in freestyle on Générations or on the mixtape "Opération Coup de Poing". Having become iconic since then, the group has experienced ups and downs, punctuated by solo albums from the members of the group. They reformed to return to the stage in 2015.
