Talk Talk

Formed in 1981, British art rock band Talk Talk are often seen as pioneers of the post-rock movement. Their synth heavy, pop-infused music drew inspiration from various genres such as jazz or experimental, and under lead singer Mark Hollis' creative direction, the band's sonic explorations became their trademark.

Their conflicting relationship with label EMI and bassist Paul Webb's departure led to the band's dissolution in 1992. Mark Hollis released a solo album in 1998, keeping some of Talk Talk's flair in his sound.
