Description

The Antwerp-based band Black Leather Jacket is back with new music. Following their breakthrough single "Village People," the band released their second album, Stinger, in 2023.

After a successful tour with stops at Pukkelpop, Crammerock, and Gladiolen, the band retreated to the studio in the fall of 2024 with producer Damien Vanderhasselt to record a follow-up. Australian Michael Badger (known for his work with Amyl And The Sniffers and King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard) joined the team to mix the album. The result is impressive: the new record, The Rush, sounds even bigger and more aggressive. The band has taken their sound to a new level while staying true to their signature formula. The Rush delves into the ever-flowing rhythm of life and the speed at which we are forced to adapt. Always looking ahead and striving for more, yet never fully grounded in the present.
