With mythological force, Venus Ex Machina injects esoteric themes into her industrial rhythms on her second album for AD 93. 

Doxa sees the producer, composer, and mathematician descend even deeper into the dark and dazzling techno soundscapes that built up her debut Lux. ‘Zeus And Metis’ pits ancient, tribal drums, space signals, and cinematic strings against each other, almost like an opening theme for the ensuing layers of growling, serrated synths and drum machine explosions. The earthshaking thuds of ‘Cleofus’ dislodge gravel and make metal groan, an exciting selection from this thunderous album.
