Description

‘Dreamer’ is Ozark Henry’s 11th studio album and the follow up to ‘August Parker’. ‘Dreamer’ inhabits a different sonic world from its predecessor. It feels, at times, more upbeat and restless. Both the title track and ‘Violet Rave’ are built upon nervous UK Garage style rhythms. ‘Locust’ has a menacing and mesmerizing groove. ‘Boy’ is a joyous 3min pop song while ‘Jerusalem’ is a 7min long dreamy epic. On ‘Videotape’ Piet Goddaer successfully turns Radiohead’s In Rainbows album closer into a delicate and classic Ozark Henry track. ‘Dreamer’ is meticulously crafted pop for those who listen closely.
