La Ragazza dalla Pelle di Luna, composed for the namesake film by Luigi Scattini and recorded during the historic sessions at the Sound Workshop — Piero Umiliani’s studio in Rome — features some of the finest Italian session musicians of the era, including the unmistakable voice of Edda Dell’Orso.
This release includes, exclusively on the physical edition, an extended version of the soundtrack’s title track, transferred directly from the original master tapes and remastered through an analog chain of processors.
Side B, also available in digital format, presents two reinterpretations shaped by our own influences: electronic, downtempo, and trip-hop.
They were created by Niccolò, resident sound engineer at the Sound Workshop since its reopening, driven by the desire to experiment with the powerful atmosphere of the original theme — making it darker, more driving, and more immersive, while remaining deeply connected to its emotional core.
