On September 18th, Ghosts of American Psychonauts, the new live album from Bonnie "Prince" Billy, will be released. Recorded on Valentine's Day at the Pico Union Project in Los Angeles, the album traces various stages of Will Oldham's career as Bonnie "Prince" Billy. It includes newly arranged tracks ranging from "Letting Go" and "I See A Darkness" to more recent songs like "I Made A Place" and "The Purple Bird." Accompanied by London May, Jacob Duncan, and other guests, the album highlights Oldham's qualities as a live performer and his remarkable ability to tell musical stories.
