‘Albatros’ is een tragikomische reeks over tien zwaarlijvige mensen op afslankingskamp in de Ardennen, bedacht door regisseur Wannes Destoop en acteur Dominique Van Malder (Radio Gaga), die ook zelf meespeelt in de reeks.

Lennert Coorevits (Compact Disk Dummies) en Pieter Van Dessel (Marble Sounds) stonden in voor de soundtrack van de reeks. Die intense samenwerking resulteerde in titeltrack ‘Albatros’ en in vier covers die samen met twaalf andere tracks het album vormen dat zal uitkomen op het nieuwe Belgische label Sonhouse Records in samenwerking met VRT MZK & [PIAS].

The album will be released in phases from Monday 15th February onwards, in parallel with the series on Canvas. The full album will be released online and as a vinyl pre-order together with the last episode of the series on Monday 5th April."
