Description

"Sunlight," from 1978, marks the beginning of Herbie Hancock's electronic era, best known for his later album "Future Shock." It's a jazz-funk fusion album featuring Hancock, who first used a vocoder and later became internationally known for his mega-hit "Rockit." Hancock is joined on keyboards by synthesizer pioneer Patrick Gleeson. Guitarists include Ray Parker Jr. and Motown session guitarist Wah Wah Watson. The album also features drummer Tony Williams and bassist Jaco Pastorius.
