Kate Bush releases ‘Best of The Other Sides’ on Fish People

The Other Sides originally consisted of 12-inch mixes, B-sides and cover versions and took up the entirety of the Remastered in Vinyl IV box set in 2018. It was also available on CD in the second of the two CD box sets that were issued at the same time, and then released as a standalone 4CD set in March 2019. These releases are now out of print.

What is effectively now a 'highlights' version features some small changes. Kate says that 'Experiment IV' and 'You Want Alchemy?' have been remastered especially for this compilation and "both include a small edit". Kate adds "I felt ‘Experiment IV’ would benefit from a longer intro featuring Alan Murphy’s magnificent guitar".

Bush also says that The Sensual World CD bonus track 'Walk Straight Down the Middle' "has also benefitted from being re-eq'd" (remastered). "Hope you enjoy the tweaks!" is her final message.
