The first reissue of Bernard Fèvre's seminal album, aka Black Devil Disco Club.
Sampled by the Chemical Brothers and rediscovered by Aphex Twin, the legendary French producer celebrates 40 years of his electronic music career. A pioneer of the home studio, a precursor of French touch, and adored worldwide by the younger generation, Bernard Fèvre personally undertook the restoration and remastering work from the original Revox tapes. It's exactly the sound of the 70s as he envisioned it in the studio. This meticulous work showcases his consistently avant-garde oeuvre, placing him alongside the greats: Giorgio Moroder, John Carpenter, and Kraftwerk. 'Cosmos 2043' is the second album of the reissued trilogy: recorded like 'Suspense' on a 4-track tape recorder and mixed on a 12-track console, a true home studio before its time, it is known for the track Earth Message which was sampled in Got Glint by the Chemical Brothers in 1999. 'Cosmos 2043' as its name and cover indicate, is the imaginary soundtrack of a science fiction epic film influenced by Dali and Barbarella.
