Description

A remastered reissue of WANDERMÜDE, an exquisitely silky fabric woven from the combined threads of German sound artist Stephan Mathieu and the critically acclaimed David Sylvian. The 2012 opus appears on vinyl for the first time, and both formats include an unreleased bonus track. An interpretation of David Sylvian's cathartic milestone BLEMISH (2003), which marked his break with his musical past, WANDERMÜDE is a fine, futuristic canvas of electroacoustic artistry. It explores the quieter, electronic sides of both personalities, delivering experimental, drone-esque forms and meek themes, and features another BLEMISH guest, guitarist/electronic artist Christian Fennesz.
