Goran Bregović

Goran Bregović hails from Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

He is one of the most internationally known modern musicians and composers of the Slavic-speaking countries in the Balkans.

Most notably so for the soundtracks he made for his fellow Bosnian Emir Kusturica's movies.

Bregović's compositions, extending Balkan musical inspirations to innovative extremes, draw upon European classicism and Balkan rhythms.
